We are delighted to welcome Eugyppius on French Invaders for a fascinating conversation about German politics, Trump’s election, the revelatory moment that was Covid, and the absurdities of modern Academia. Eugyppius is the author of the widely popular blog Eugyppius: A Plague Chronicle, hosted on Substack. Out of nowhere, his chronicle on the new world ushered in by the public health bureaucracy's "unprecedented, comprehensive failure of policy, medicine, and science" has grown to attract tens of thousands of subscribers.
As the Covid crisis was substituted by other current issues, the Plague Chronicle took a stronger emphasis on German politics, as a particularly interesting case of the turn into hysteria and madness of the whole Western world, as well as the mass propagator of midwit hysteria that has become the Academia. Above all, Eugyppius: A Plague Chronicle is a delightfully vitriolic indictment of our dumb and smug “best and brightest” class.
